Who goes first?
The lowest card goes first which is the 3 of clubs. However the 3 of clubs can be played within a combination of cards i.e. as a single, within a pair of 3’s, as a triple 333’s, or within any five card hand.
Play or Pass
The rotation of turns as in poker goes clockwise (the player to your immediate left would play their cards after yours.
To Drop a Card(s)
In order to drop a card during your turn, the card combination must be higher than the one currently in play (the card combination played before you), so if you played a single 3, I’d have to play a higher single if I wanted to drop a card.
If you don’t have any card higher than the one in play or if you just want to save a card for another turn, you can pass. When you pass the turn transfers to the next player to your left. Passing only applies for the duration of that card. So if Idropped a 3 of clubs, you dropped King of diamonds, player 3 passed, and if player 4 beats it with a Ace of clubs. I could drop a 2 of spades.
What happens if everyone passes on my card?
You now have control. You can drop any combination of cards that you like.
